You rest upon the breasts of the goddess of fortune. You are decorated with swinging earrings. You wear a charming garland of forest flowers. O Lord Jayadeva (who defeat all the demigods)! O Lord Hari, all glories to You!

Your ornaments are as splendid as the orb of the sun. You break the cycle of repeated birth and death. O swan who swim in the peaceful lake of the sages’ hearts. O Lord Jayadeva, O Lord Hari! All glories unto You!

You defeated the poisonous Kaliya serpent. You  delight the people. O brilliantly shining sun that cause the lotus flower of the Yadu dynasty to bloom. O Jayadeva, O Lord Hari! All glories unto You!

Shining with the light of the sun and the moon. Bring your love’s sweet monsoon. Bring your boundless love, fill my heart with wonder.  Bring your boundless love, my heart beats like thunder.
