Review from Yogi Times by Lloyd Barde:
This new CD is a beautiful composition of modern duets, harmonies, and music combined with traditional ancient mantras, chants, and bhajans...... This CD is soulful, mellow and timeless.
Dear Sura,
Our Unity Breakfast on Saturday 4/16 was such a glorious event! I am so thankful that you and the Temple Bhajan Band were able to join us for such a great and succesful event. Your presence amoungst us blessed us. Your grace and love was indeed an inspiration. We celebrate the connection that has been made and I look forward to our paths crossing again in the near future. You are a light among us and we salute your Godliness and your loving service. Your music enriched us. We are SO grateful to each precious one of you.
With great love and appreciation,
Rev. Moira Foxe Redondo Beach
Great recording, makes me feel like I am in San Ramon seeing Amma. It will be a pleasure to promote this one!

Here's a revue from Body and Soul Magazine: California-based The Temple Bhajan Band, meanwhile goes for an explicitly Indian sound on Temple of the Heart, using a mix of drones, violin, flute, and the mrdunga drum. Chanting is always in danger of sounding cloyingly pious, but the band avoids that problem thanks to the raspy vocals of Sura Dasa, who has a sound somewhere between Sufi singer Nusrat Fatch, Ali Khan and Tom Waits.
