Reviews for Temple of the Heart
Review from L.A. Yoga:
The latest release from The Temple Bhajan Band, Los Angeles' own Krishna kirtan group headed by Sura Dasa, is one of their best efforts. Starting with the extremely beautiful "Mama Mandire," lead by the exquisite voice of Mahalaxmi Dasi, this chant is truly the best recording I have come across by the Temple Bhajan Band. The production value is several notches hugher than previous recordings, and I think it will win over the hearts of those who have not been able to feel the Shakti from prior releases.
The traditional "Govindam Adi Purusam" takes the energy deeper and keeps the Shakti flowing with grace and so much gratitude. Sura's egoless rendering of "Sita Ram" is a perfect manifestation of his devotion and a sweet incarnation of the love that has this precious group of devotees doing what they do best - spreading the word of God.
The instrumewntation throughout the album is always traditional, featuring harmonium, mridunga, tanpura, kartals, flutes, violin, guitar and a handful of percussive accompaniment. The Temple Bhajan Band just keeps growing and their presence here in Los Angeles is not only a blessing to yogis, but to all the people they constantly serve without ever asking for anything in return.
Temple of the Heart is their best effort to date and highly reccomended to those who love to chant the names of God regardless of their chosen path.

liked a lot (A Gentle Way, La Mesa, CA)
I was surprised and impressed by the pranic potency within which this CD seems to have been created. The chants were sincere, the mixes elegant, and the cellular impact quite loving. the devotional intensity was palpatable. (High Performance Yoga, Tarzana CA)
Like the mix of chants, a nice introduction to Bhajans. (Yoga RX, Steamboat Springs, CO)
liked authentic feeling of this one. (Dharma Delta, West Monroe, LA)
liked the mix of chants; a nice introduction to bhajans (Highland Lake Yoga, Hendersonville, NC)
Very transcedental and good to listen to. (Synergy Yoga Center in Miami Beach, FL)
Like the chants & call and response. (Yoga and Healing Oasis in Seacrest, FL)
A good cd. (Maha Yoga Center in Bridgewater, MA)
